Athletes information

Late Entry
In exceptional cases, late entries may be accepted through a request to Mario Bassani

No entries will be accepted on the competition day.

Parking
Parking is available at the gravel field by the competition arena for 20 SEK. Look for traffic signs with Meeting logo on.

Athletes accreditation
Athletes in the main program will get an Accreditation when arriving to the hotel or in Friidrottens Hus from 03.00 p.m. on race day. Accreditation Card gives access to arena, athletes area and athletes dinner after the meeting. For competitors in pre- and post program, the number bib is a valid ticket to the arena but not for dinner.

Coaches accreditation
Coaches to athletes in all events can pick up an Accreditation Card in Friidrottens Hus from 03.00 p.m. on race day. Accreditation Card gives access to the arena and athletes area.

Training
It is possible to use our indoor track Friidrottens Hus for training between 10.00 a.m.-08.00 p.m. on Thursday 15th. At the competition arena there will be ongoing preparations, so training is limited but with great respect for the workers and local athletes you can use the arena for training between 08.00 a.m.-07.30 p.m. on Thursday 15th. At the competition day, Friday 16th, you are only allowed to use our indoor track from 10.00 a.m. Accreditation is mandatory to enter the track.

Massage & Physio
Athletes in the main program are welcome to use our massage service according to the following opening hours:
Thursday 15th 04.00 p.m.-09.00 p.m. at the meeting hotel.
Friday 16th 05.00 p.m.-08.00 p.m. at the indoor track, Friidrottens Hus.

Implements check
Please bring your implement to the implements check at the indoor track no later than 90 minutes before the start of your event.

Competition clothing
You must use your club vest or sponsors vest while competing. Any larger logos will be taped in accordance with the IAAF Advertising Regulations.

Spikes
The maximum length of spikes is 7 mm for track events and 9 mm for field events.

Height progressions
Pole Vault: 5.20, 5.35, 5.50, 5.60, 5.70, 5.75+5

Heats
In running events the seeding is based on your season and/or personal best. Heats will be presented at our website www.goteborggp.se and in the app Roster Athletics. Any changes will be announced at competition day and will be availible at the indoor track, Friidrottens Hus.

Number bibs
The bibs will be handed out at the indoor track, Friidrottens Hus, on the competition day from 03.00 p.m. You must wear your bib on the front and back (except for Pole Vaulters and High Jumpers who may wear the bib only on the front or back). It is forbidden to fold away the commercial logos at the bib. You must pick up your bib at latest 60 minutes before your event starts.

Warm-up
There is a green park close to the competition arena for warm-up outside. It is also possible to use the indoor track, Friidrottens Hus, located next to the competition arena. Throwers may use our throwing field just outside of the indoor track.
Warm-up is not allowed at the competition arena before you have passed the callroom.

Callroom
The Callroom procedures prior to each event are as follows:
Field events: report to the Callroom 45 minutes before, entrance infield 40 minutes before (Pole Vault closes 60 min before. Entrance infield 55 min before)
Track events: report to the Callroom 25 minutes before, entrance infield 20 minutes before
The call room is located at the indoor track, Friidrottens Hus.

Infield
It is forbidden for athletes or coaches to be on the infield without authorisation, for security reasons.

Post competition procedure
The official in charge of each event will tell you when you may leave the arena. The winners in the main events will move on to the prize ceremony immediately following the end of competition while others leave the arena through mixed zone. The winners of the running events will be taken care of by officials at the finish area.

Prize ceremony
The Prize Ceremony, close to the finish line, is held immediately after each main event and involves only the winner of the event. In events with more than one heat, the price money will only be handed out to the winner of heat A.

Mixed Zone
All athletes must pass through the Mixed Zone after the end of their event. The Mixed Zone is located after the finish line.

Dressing rooms/Shower
There are dressing rooms available at the main building that connects to the competition arena. Please follow signs from Athletes area.

Protests
You must file a written protest to the competition office located in the tower by the finish line no later than 30 minutes after the results have been published. The protest fee is USD 100.

Results
www.goteborggp.se for all events and for the main program the app Roster Athletics for live results. The app can be downloaded on App-Store or Google Play for free.

Medical care
There will be physiotherapists, doctors and nurses present for the entire competition.

Anti-Doping
Athletes must bring a valid photo identification such as Passport to the competition. If you should be chosen for doping test you must be able to identify yourself.

Food & Snacks
There will be food and snacks available for sale at the arena.

There is an Athletes’ Office on second floor. The opening hours are:
Thursday 15th 09.00-09.00 p.m., Friday 16th 08.00 a.m.-10.00 p.m. and Saturday 17th 08.00 a.m.-03.00 p.m. Here you can find the timetable for the competition, maps of Gothenburg and transport service. If you have any questions, please visit the office.

Breakfast
Breakfast will be served on floor two between 06.30 a.m. and 12.00 noon all days.

Meals
Lunch Thursday: in the restaurant between 01.00 p.m.-03.00 p.m.
Dinner Thursday: in the restaurant between 06.30 p.m.-08.30 p.m.
Lunch Friday: in the restaurant between 01.00 p.m.-03.00 p.m.
Dinner Friday: at the indoor track, between 06.30-09.00 p.m.
Your Accreditation Card is your food ticket.

Phone calls & Pay-TV
If you want to use the phone in your room for outgoing phone calls or want to watch Pay-TV you must present your credit card at the front desk. Those services are not included in your stay.

Checkout
The checkout time is at 12.00 noon on Saturday August 17th.
